Gaetano & Magdalena

These two gorgeous people know how to celebrate a wedding.

If they weren’t sitting at the head table eating their food or listening to the great speeches, they were dancing. I bet both of their feet were sore at the end of the night. The joy that radiated from them was palpable throughout the entire room. No matter where I looked, there was smiling, there was laughter. And this truly authentic polish wedding have everything from never ending bottles of a lemon-honey liquor to a meat hut. Yes, you read that correctly. And it also happens to be EXACTLY what it sounds like. It comes from the old-world wedding tradition of the stół wiejski, or “country table,” a spread of sausages, patés, meats, pickles, cheeses, bread, and more.

And the florals from this wedding were all done by the bride herself! I set up the decor, many backdrops, dessert tables, head table, individual tables, and favors for the bride. We were able to have multiple meetings to discuss the specifics and she was very happy with the way the ballroom looked for the reception.

Congratulations to you both — thank you for having me be a small part of your big day!
